The Center for African Economic, Law, and Policy (CAELP) is a policy-oriented research center dedicated to advancing sustainable economic development, strengthening legal frameworks, and enabling practical policy initiatives primarily across the African continent. With a commitment to adapting global solutions to Africa’s unique challenges, CAELP aims to address complex issues at the intersection of economics, law and policy. Our goal is to foster interdisciplinary research, close critical gaps in the understanding of economic and legal issues and promote effective policy implementation.

By bridging the divide between economic theory, enabling legal regulation, and practical policy action, we strive to tackle challenges such as economic stability, sustainable development, financial regulation and the broader impact of governmental policy on the continent. Our mission is to cultivate an economically stable and prosperous Africa anchored by accurate data and policy through research and advocacy pioneered by the CAELP.
